Roll back of SRO 130 sought on reduction in age bar for civil services | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Jan 11: Renowned social activist sardar Tajinder Singh today strongly opposed the implementation of SRO 130 that has unjustifably reduced the age bar for civil aspirants by five years. Tajinder said the new rules arbitrary in nature and demand immediate roll back of SRO 130. He said the implementation of said SRO will not only impede the participation of those KAS aspirants who have crossed the age limit of 32 but will also add to the rising level of frustration among unemployed youth in Jammu and Kashmir. Tajinder Singh said the applicability of SRO 130 has come as bolt out of blue for the civil services aspirants across J&K UT. Tajinder said youth in Jammu and Kashmir have already been facing the tide of unemployment and now this move will make situation more gloomy."There is no reason to reduce the age limit of civil services aspirants to 32 when the upper age limit in rest of country even exceeds 38 and 40",he pleaded. |
