Jammu, Jan 25: Today DTEA agitation entered 56th day and chain hunger strike entered in 29th day in support of their demands to constitute a public board for all temples under Dharmarth Trust for proper and fair management as the persons having control on Dharmarth Trust for the last 60 years have illegally occupied and selling trust land and property for personal and political benefits as it is matter of serious concern. A deputation of employees representative led by its president Vivek Bandral met Davinder Rana ex MLA and president of National Conference Jammu province and handed over memorandum containing various facts of mismanagement and miss deeds of lands by the person having control on Dharmarth Trust. He listened the deputation properly and assured that he will give full support to the demands of employees to constitute public board for all temples under Dharmarth Trust which is genuine and justified as the temples and its properties cannot be property of individual and there is so many complaints against Dharmarth Trust management which need urgent CBI enquiry so that true facts comes out before the public as the temples and shrines management should be transparent, responsible, answerable and accountable so that offerings made by the devotees be utilised for welfare of devotees and proper maintenance of historic temples as the temples under Dharmarth Trust is in very unhygienic condition and board is necessary for their proper development. |
