Early Times Report RAMBAN, Feb 17: In order to assess the public issues raised besides improving public delivery system, the Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Mussarat Islam presided over a public grievances redressal camp at Kowbagh, Ramban under "Block Diwas" initiative here today. After the marathon three hours session, most of the issues were resolved on spot and directions were passed to officers to take necessary follow-up action. DDC Members, Rakesh Thakur and Renuka Katoch, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Harbans Lal, ACD, Zameer Ahmed, Executive Engineer of PWD and PMGSY and other senior officers of different departments attended the diwas. The DC patiently heard public issues, grievances and demands highlighted by the PRIs, deputations and individuals from various panchyats including Seri, Sencha, Chanderkote, Sawni, Sildar, Pernote, Adhwa, Rajgarh and other adjoining areas. The DC urged the public to highlight their grievances and issues with concerned quarters for their proper disposal. He said that issues of collateral damages on links roads due to earth cutting under NH-44 four laning project has already been taken up with the NHAI.
