Foreign envoys visit to JK tells Government not hiding anything: Kavinder | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Feb 17: Senior BJP leader and former deputy chief minister Kavinder Gupta said that the overwhelming welcome of foreign envoys to J&K is testimony to the fact that the government has nothing to hide and anyone from anywhere can come to J&K and gauge the situation independently. In a statement issued here on Wednesday, Kavinder said that the BJP government at the center has done tremendous work as far as changing the development profile of the newly carved out UT is concerned. He said that at times it becomes necessary to showcase what is happening to stop the enemy nations from spreading false narratives across the nations. Without naming Pakistan and China, he said that our enemies are so crook that they can go to any extent in defaming India in the world forum therefore such visits by the foreign envoys become imperative to clear stance of the country and also to eliminate misconceptions making rounds in other countries due to misinformation campaigns launched by the rogue nations. He said that scenario in J&K has totally changed post abrogation of Article 370 as development took the lead and peace is at a minute's drive with complete devastation of terrorist edifice by strong and synergetic efforts of security forces stationed in the Valley and elsewhere. He also made it clear that with concrete line of action suggested by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, those entities in Kashmir which once used to blackmail the central dispensations on one pretext or other are now running helter-skelter to seek refuge and save their skins against the sins which they have committed while remaining in power or from outside the power circles. He said that NC, PDP, and Congress in J&K always moved on the line which was against the interests of the people but due to appeasement policy of central governments of those times there was nobody to stop them from toeing the lines which proved detrimental to people and the nation. |
