| 'Influential' employee at Tehsil Office Mendhar overstaying since years | | Evades transfer every time using contacts at higher ups | | RAJESH TANDON

POONCH, Feb 24: An 'influential' employee at Tehsil Office Mendhar of this district has been overstaying at this office for the last many years in violation of transfer policy. It has been observed that he had managed to evade his transfer every time using his contact at higher ups.
Sources in the department informed Early Times that he had spent most of his service time at Tehsil Office Mendhar having two offices including SDM Mendhar in the same building. He remains shifted from SDM office to Tehsildar office making the mockery of transfer policy.
They alleged that he had remained involved in malpractices by making the gullible people fool. Although he was transferred on some occasions outside the district but after spending a few months, he returned to his native place of Mendhar in the same office, they said. Locals alleged that he is being backed by some influential, powerful people in the administration as well as in the political circle.
When contacted SDM Mendhar said that the said employee has been working here for the last one year and he had no information about his overstay. He said that he was working in his office one year ago. But the fact of the matter is that he remains to continue to shift from one office to another in the same building, sources alleged. |
