CEO Jammu inaugurates Pre-primary wing at GMS Kote, distributes books | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Feb 26: Chief Education officer Jammu, Vijay Kumar Sharma, inaugurated the pre-primary wing here at Government Boys Middle School, Kote in presence of PRIs and prominent citizens of the area. He also distributed books and sanitizers among students provided by Master Sohan Lal on behalf of Social Reforms and Charitable Trust. After the inauguration, the CEO asked the teachers of the school to increase the enrollment of students with active support of local PRI members. If teachers and local PRIs jointly convince and boost the morale of parents, enrollment of school can be increased, he hoped. He asserted that Government Schools have well qualified staff and good infrastructure. Appreciating the head of the school and his team, the Chief Education Officer said that good environment provided by the administration can definitely increase the enrollment of the Govt schools. "The department is making all efforts to give quality education to every child' he added and mentioned various initiatives being taken to improve quality of education as well as infrastructure in government schools. Zonal Education Officer, Susheela Devi Sharma also spoke on the occasion. The CEO Jammu appreciated the efforts of School Head Master Joginder Singh Manhas and school staff.
