JAMMU, MAR 8: The election was held to elect the office bearers of the Mohalla Welfare Committee of Jawahar Nagar at Shiv Temple, Jawahar Nagar, New Plot Jammu.
In the election, Madan Lal Dab was unanimously re-elected as the President of the Committee, while Om Prakash Sharma as Chairman, Dinesh Rajput as General Secretary, S.Vice president as R K Verma, Ashwani Langer and Darshan Kumar as Vice Presidents, Gurmeet Singh as Secretaries, Kamal Sharma as Organizer.
Madan Gopal Sharma, Puran Singh, Ram Gopal Sharma, Sat Sharma, Lajja Devi, Madhu Mata,
Renu Baloria, Usha Devi, and Ajay Mahajan were elected as Advisors, Janak Raj as Accountant, Mohan Lal Gupta as Cashier and Ketan Kumar as Publicity Secretary.
While speaking, Madan Lal Dab expressed gratitude to the people for re-electing him as President as the committee. He assured to work for the development of the area.
“All the issues of the people will be taken up with the concerned authorities for redressal”, he asserted.
