Arnia, Mar 28: People of 25 villages of Tehsil Arnai of Jammu District today hold a strong protest demonstration against union government and Mining and Geology Department for their anti public decision. According to the sources, sarpanchs, panches and other locals in large came on roads and raised strong protest against the decision in which government has sell their rivers to some blue eye contractors which caused heavy unemployment among unemployed youth who are depending on sand and Bajri. According to the protesters, the contractors will pollute our atmosphere and make our youth disabled in business field. They said, "tractors and tippers of these high level contractor make noise pollution and air pollution in area which creat tension for general public".
They said, "government should provide alternate lands to them at any other place, and take their land for their blue eyed contractors.
Later SHO Arnai rushed on the spot and listen to public issues and assured to discuss their matter with concern authorities. If government and Geology Department failed to revoke this decision, "they will hit the roads at large" local warned.
