| Seminar on World Health Day held at GDC Banihal | | |

RAMBAN, Apr 7: The debates and seminar committee in collaboration with NSS Unit of GDC Banihal celebrated world health day on April 07, in the conference hall of the college. In the inaugural address convener debates and seminar committee convener, Prof. Sajad Ahmed Sultan, HOD Urdu apprised the audience about the importance of celebrating this day and impressed upon the students to keep themselves healthy during this pandemic. As WHO has declared the theme for this year as “Building a fairer healthier world for everyone”.
Prof. Ajay Kumar in his speech highlighted the importance of health in student career upliftment and urged upon the students to maintain good health by taking balanced diet and regular exercise.
Worthy Principal of the college Prof. Dr. Manohar Lal in his presidential address highlighted the ways and means by which good health can be maintained. The secret for success lies in good health.
A good number of students also participated and presented their speeches. The proceeding of the programme was carried out Prof. Sajad Ahmed Sultan and Mr. Deepak Kumar (PTI) of the college. The programme concluded with the vote of thanks presented by Prof. Manzoor Ahmad Bhat.
