Early Times Report JAMMU, Apr 7: A meeting of Ex-Central Paramilitary Forces Welfare Association (ECPFWA), Jammu was held today at Jammu Press Club which was presided over by Shashi Sharma, President of the Association. In the meeting two minutes silence was observed in the memories of 20 martyred CRPF personnel of 210 Bn who laid down their lives in a Naxal attack at Chhattisgarh. The members expressed grave concern over the fate of one jawan of the Bn. namely CT/GD Rakeshwar Singh Manhas who is missing and hails from Jammu, who now as per the media briefing is under the custody of Naxals. The Chairman, President and General Secretary of the Ex-Central Paramilitary Forces Welfare Association appealed to the Home Minister of India, Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh State, Dr. Jatinder Singh MoS PM's Office, Director General CRPF, Jugal Kishore Sharma, Member Parliament Jammu-Poonch, Shamsher Manhas ex-member Rajya Sabha, Dr. Narinder Singh BJP National Secretary and all leadership of Jammu for early release of the jawan from the clutches of the Naxals as the family of the jawan is in great shock. |
