In a statement to the press, Gourav said that the Govt should make sure the injured civilian get all needed medical care free of cost and he should be given compensation. "The attack of wild cat had left him seriously injured. The Govt must not leave him alone and take responsibility of all the medical expenses," he demanded. He said that the wildlife department should ensure that the leopards and other wild animals should not come in the residential areas as it would be dangerous for both human as well as animals. He took on the wildlife department for their failure to catch the leopards who have spread fear among the local residents of Bahu Fort from last two weeks.
