Bale fruit is a sweet, aromatic fruit that grows on bale tree that is native to India and South East Asia. It is eaten fresh, dried or in juice form. The extract of bale fruit, leaves and seeds produces impressive health effects. NUTRITION FACTS Carbs: Bale fruit is composed of carbohydrates, with about 300gms per 100gms of the edible portion of the fruit. Other than the carbohydrate the weight of bale fruit comes from water. Fats: Their is minimal fat in bale fruit. It is less than half gram per 100gms protein. Bale fruit is low in protein. Out of 100gms of fruit there are between 1.8 and 2.6 gms of protein. Vitamins and Minerals Bale fruit has vitamin C, betacarotene and some B vitamins. It has some potassium magnesium, calcium, zinc, copper and iron. HEALTH BENEFITS: Bale has a long history of use in ayurveda for the treatment of digestive issues or digestive problems. But when it comes to modern scientific studies Bale health benefits have not been fully evaluated in humans. Prevents bacteria-induced diarrhea as Bale fruit fights of dangerous bacteria, the bacteria Shigella dysenteriae blinds to cells in the colon, causing diarrhoea, fever and stomach pain, fights off skin infections: Bale leaf oil inhibits common types of fungus that infect the skin. The same is true for several bacterial strains including those responsible for staph infections. Protects the stomach The extract from the leaves of bale fruit provides antioxidant protection against damage that radiation does to the GI - Tract. Helps in diabetic management:- Bale provides anti inflammatory affect. It help in diabetes treatment. Treatment of asthma Grind 5gns of bale leaves add one spoon of honey take orally in the morning for relief. High blood pressure:- The juice of bale leaves added with honey should be taken every morning. Jaundice: Extract juice of 100 nos of soft bale leaves mixed it with powder of 10no of black pepper. Typhoid: Our body becomes weak due to high fever. Grind 200 bale leaves. Boil in one cup of water till it becomes thick. Take this paste with a little honey twice or thrice a day. Healthy mind and brain: Ripe bale fruit taken with fresh cream (butter) and sugar candy powder sharpens concentration and intelligence.
