Aam Aadmi Party leader greets people on Eid ul Fitr | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 13: Gurmeet Singh leader AAP and social activists extended his greetings to entire Muslim faithfuls around the globe on the auspicious occasion of the Eid-ul-Fitr. Singh said that, this Ramadan has been especially tough for Muslim communities. Families have not been able to see each other; people unable to break fast together or even go to the mosque for prayers. People providing to food banks to help the vulnerable and significant donations to many charitable causes. Eid isn't something to put on new clothes but it is to renew ourselves. It is to add happiness to the worries of others. It is to share the pain of other's. Eid can't be celebrated happily unless we add happiness to other's grief and distress. And, I know Eid is one of those joyous occasions where communities all come together to celebrate. Still, as ever, our number one priority remains to keep all of our loved ones and communities safe. As the Covid-19 has disproportionately affected the entire world , and the entire world is working together to address these issues. He said that the Eid-ul-Fitr would bring happiness to all after overcoming all the darkness of the coronavirus pandemic. He also appealed to the entire Muslim faithful around the Globe to celebrate the Eid at their homes, adhere to the principles of social distancing and avoid gatherings at their homes and public places during the festival so the possible mass-scale outbreak of coronavirus could be averted. |
