| JSM(P) demand opening of IB for trade | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 9: Jammu State Morcha (P) has urged the state Governor to take up immediate opening of trade route through International Border of Suchetgarh-Sailkot as was earlier committed by the centre.
In a joint statement issued here today Capt. Anil Gour (Retd) Vice President and Digvijay Singh, Secretary General of JSM strongly urged the Governor to take up the immediate opening of Trade Route through the International Border of Suchetgarh –Sailkot as this too was earlier committed by the Govt. of India besides starting railway line from Jammu to Suchetgarh-Sailkot at the earliest possible. Opening of these routes will enable the trading community of Jammu region to have an easy access for trade with Pakistan round the year as was being done prior to 1947. They also demanded opening of LoC point of Bhimber-Nowshera for people to people contact. |
