6/7/2021 12:10:16 AM

EARLY TIMES REPORT

JAMMU, June 6: Gurmeet Singh Senior AAP leader & Social activist today expressed concern on skyrocketing prices of essential commodities urging the Central Government to make supply chain effective for bringing down the prices.
In a statement state leaders of AAP J&K Gurmeet Singh alleged that under the central government, prices of all the essential commodities have skyrocketed. That the prices of essential commodities are increasing with every passing day as the central government as well as state administration has failed to control it.
The uncontrolled hike in the prices of the essential commodities has added a heavy burden to the common people who are facing hardships due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
To ensure availability of essential commodities at cheaper rates, the government should make arrangement for supply of these items.
The central government is busy in benefiting few corporate houses.
The government failed to control the inflation and the Central Government did not take any concrete action to control inflation.
Singh, concerned and condemned the central govt for increasing burden on the common masses.
The abrupt and continuous hike is economically badly affecting the people already reeling under the economic recession during coronavirus.
The covid_19 pandemic has devastated the country as thousands of people became unemployed and now the BJP govt. ravaged their remaining savings by increasing the fuel prices. The hike in fuel and LPG prices will eventually increases the Transportation cost of essential goods as well as the prices of vegetables and other items which in turn will affect the poor people. This is a massive betrayal with the people of India. Instead of helping the people, the BJP Govt is destroying their life and livelihood.
Singh, demanded that Central Government present a roadmap for tackling price of essential commodities and immediate roll back of the increased fuel prices.
