Rajni Bala starts blacktopping of road work at Ward 60

Jammu, June 10: Corporator Rajni Bala started development work of black topping of Paloura Road at Mohalla Sandh Paloura upto Janipur Ambgarota Road at Ward No 60 here today.
Speaking on the occasion, Rajni Bala said that a long pending demand of residents of the area has been met as the same was pending since long. She said that the development works in Jammu were on grand-halt and the lanes & drains and roads are in dilapidated condition, causing great inconvenience to the inhabitants.
Rajni Bala asked the executing agency to expedite the work and complete the same work on a fast track basis so that the people may not face any inconvenience. She also laid stress upon the officials to maintain quality of work in the area.
She said that the Congress party is fully committed to the people of Jammu and Kashmir for development and progress. She urged upon all the Congress corporators to deliver according to the wishes of the people and the party will strive to serve the people of J&K even while in opposition. She also appealed to the people of the area to contribute some of their time for keeping their localities clean and green.
Later, Rajni Bala met with a large number of people and was apprised of their demands and grievances.
She assured the people of the area that all the works related to development will be taken up at the earliest. She also sought cooperation of the people in implementing the development programmes on ground level.
The Councillor called upon the people to follow the guidelines given by the Government and co-operate with the authorities. There is no need to panic and we shall overcome this crisis if we fight it together with dedication and discipline, she added.
Prominent among those who were present include Som Nath Sharma, Tarun Vaid, Ajay Sharma, Parshotam Kumar, Sat Pal Singh Chib, Virender Mehta, Kali, Major Singh and others.
