| SCCU reaches to needy people of Garnai | | |

UDHAMPUR, June 17: Senior Citizens’ Club (Regd) Udhampur (SCCU) believing that working people are passing through the most tough time as they have been rendered workless because of pandemic closures, restricted movements and coming to stand still all earning activities that have brought these hard working people and their families to the brink of starvation, as such SCCU have launched a mission to identify such people from rural area and to knock at their door with little help from the coffer of the Club.
This was communicated by the President of the Club Mahadeep Singh Jamwal. It was stated that Club has devised a strategy such as: ‘Identification’, to identify the needy through its members, social media and other platforms. ‘Source Creating’: to identify and create a source for contribution. ‘Motivation/Inspiration’: To motivate and inspire to contribute for social causes and then ‘Distribution’ managed through social workers/peoples representatives.
As a chain-link to this strategy, Club distributed essential commodities to the identified needy people of village Garnai Lotta under the management of Col (Rtd) Balwant Singh vice-president of the Club. On the occasion Col (Rtd) Balwant Singh sensitized the people about the importance and need of using Mask, sanitizing hands and maintaining social distance. He motivated the people to get themselves vaccinated that will keep their family and whole society safe and secure against Corona. |
