SRINAGAR, July 12: Two minors on Monday drowned in separate ponds in north Kashmir district of Kupwara, official sources said. They said a 10-year-old boy, identified as Yawar Manzoor Ganai, was taking a bath in a pond with a group of other children at Divar Lolab in Kupwara. "The boy accidently went to the deeper end of the pond and drowned," they said. The minor boy was taken out of the pond and rushed to a hospital, where he was declared brought dead. In another incident, a 15-year-old boy Asif Ahmad Khan, drowned in a pond in Lolab, Kupwara on Monday. "The minor was rushed to a hospital, where he was declared brought dead," they said. |
