| DC Kathua inaugurates official website of District Statistics & Evaluation Office | | |  Early Times Report
KATHUA, July 17: In a significant move to highlight varied activities and functions of District Statistics & Evaluation Office (DSEO), Deputy Commissioner Kathua Rahul Yadav launched its official website www.dseokathua.in here at a simple function.
Additional District Development Commissioner, Puneet Sharma; Chief Planning Officer, Uttam Singh; District Statistics & Evaluation Officer, Ranjeet Thakur; Assistant Director (E&S), Mahesh Kumar and other Staff members of DSEO Office were present at the inaugural ceremony.
Pertinently, the District Statistics and Evaluation Office Kathua is the Nodal Agency for collection, compilation and dissemination of important statistical data in the District. The launch of its official website, scholars, students and research workers can access the data just with a click of the button.
After inaugurating the website, the DC hailed the efforts of the DSEO Kathua and other staff members to make the data available on the official website which can be fetched and accessed while sitting from remote locations by just clicking the web link www.dseokathua.in.
He further said that such efforts should also be made by the other departments of the district so that a layman or a researcher can easily access and utilize that data. |
