PC on Official Language releases Reasi based Salal Power Station's magazine 'Smarika' | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, July 17: The Parliamentary Committee on official languages (Second Sub-Committee) released Reasi based Salal Power Station's third issue of 'Smarika' magazine, official spokesman here said on Saturday. The spokesman, as per official communiqué said that the third issue of Salal Power Station's home magazine 'Smarika' was released by the Parliamentary Committee on Official Language (Second Sub-Committee) at Srinagar. On this occasion, Salal Power Station head, N Ram said that it is a matter of honor and privilege for the power station that the 'Souvenir' was released by the second sub-committee of the Parliamentary Committee on Official Language, one of the highest parliamentary committees constituted by the Government of India. Pertinent to mention here is that from July 14 to 16, a committee was on tour to inspect the ongoing work of Official Language in 16 offices of total 10 Central Government Enterprises in Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir). The committee was presided over by the Member Parliament and the convener of the committee, Ms Rita Bahuguna Joshi. Pradeep Tamta, Ranjanben Dhananjay Bhatt and Sushil Kumar Gupta, as other Members of the Official Language Parliamentary Committee, inspected the works of Rajbhasha done by Salal Power Station. The committee congratulated NHPC Salal Power Station and extended best wishes for the successful publication of the magazine in future as well, said the spokesman. |
