| Councillor kick starts upgradation, macdamization of roads in Sainik Colony | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 17: Continuing the development of the Ward, JMC Councillor Gurmeet Kour Randhawa of Ward 69 kick started upgradation and macdamization of roads of sector A & G of Ward 69 of Sainik Colony. The residents highlighted that the works have started at a rapid pace under the present Councillor. The residents, present during the kick-starting of work appreciated Councillor Gurmeet Kour Randhawa in handling the works and cooperation of Public Works (R & B) Department. The councillor assured the residents that the remaining work of macadamising of roads will be done after the monsoon and she will leave no stone unturned for development of the Colony. Councillor Gurmeet Randhawa said that she is aware of the problems in the Colony and she has approached concerned Department for repairs and upgradation of basic amenities. Work for Rs 2.5 lakhs for streetlights on either side of the main nallah of Sainik Colony is sanctioned by the Jammu Municipal Corporation. |
