Shiv Sena stages protest against Fisheries deptt | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, July 17: The workers of Dogra Front and Shiv Sena under the leadership of President Ashok Gupta took out a protest rally in Jammu city against discrimination in the disbursement of the salaries. Gupta said that 403 daily wagers are been given salaries in Kashmir valley and only 40 are given salaries in Jammu. He stated that the new director of the fisheries department is an non technical man as per the department as he has no idea about the procurement and working if the fisheries department. The new director is an anti Jammu voice as he openly claims to be saying that the people from Jammu would not be welcomed in any possible manner which is visible in his disbursement of salaries between Jammu and Kashmir. The party workers raised slogans against the director fisheries for such unethical and discriminatory practices. Ashok Gupta in an appeal to the Lt Governor Manoj Sinha said that you have promised an equal and an fair opportunity to both Jammu and Kashmir which the people of Jammu never had before the abrogation of article 370. "So kindly provide the salaries of the daily wagers as it has become difficult for them to run their household", he said. The party workers who were present at the time of protest were Abhishek, Bantu, Fauji, Kalu, Naresh, Pradhan, Gurutej, Prem and various others were present. |
