DIET Kud, Udhampur organising series of orientation programs

UDHAMPUR, July 17: DIET Kud conducted a series of orientation/ awareness sessions in connection with JK Career Portal MANZELEIN launched by School Education Department with technical support of UNICEF.
During this series, all HOIs and faculty counsellors from HSS/HS, DCCs, ZCCs were sensitized about the portal to help students from 9th to 12th in exploring about 550 career options, about 21000 colleges in concern, 1150 entrance exams and 1120 scholarship schemes.
Ashok Kumar, Sr. Lect., DNO Counselling carried out the proceedings. Sushma Gupta, HOD, I/C Counselling DIET Kud and counselling team from DSEJ, Dr Surinder Sharma, Shanti Swaroop Sharma, Dr Danish were among the speakers to make all aware about the need, objectives and utility of the portal to help students in planning their future especially during the pandemic.
Meenakshi Lehra, DCC shared an impressive live demo on how to access the portal. All the sessions were interactive which radiate a lot of information to all the concerned. In the end, Principal DIET Kud presented vote of thanks to all the participants, speakers and District Counselling team for full cooperation and executing all the counselling activities timely in a systematic way. Moreover, Dr Surinder Sharma solved all the queries raised by the participants.
