Poetry book "Sagar Manthan" launched offline

JAMMU, July 19: A poetry book- "Sagar Manthan" by poet, author Dr. Gian Singh was launched offline in Gurha Slathia.
The book was launched by Mohan Singh, president Duggar Manch (Jammu, J&K) respecting all the COVID-19 norms and restrictions. Releasing the book Mohan Singh commended the poet for his endeavours giving new heights to Dogri poetry and literature, widening the horizons of thought process in literary journey.
He congratulated ex-additional Secretary, J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages, Dr. Gian Singh on his wonderful poetry collection. The range of poems varies from social perception to universal sphere and misconceptions get evaporated in the process with his imaginary, solid and logical narrations.
The poems speak about the questions, issues, and emotive narratives from the beginning of Sagar Manthan up to the modern age illusions, double standard existence as well as human behaviour, money-minded and shortcut approach and much more. Mohan Singh wished the poet and all good health and urged to keep all up for the growth of Dogri.
Narrating the whole literary journey and good things about the book "Sagar Manthan", eminent writer, scholar Dr. Gian Singh thanked everyone for being there for the book launch and said "Sagar Manthan has poems of all shades and different in nature, defining human relations, social life and overall pain of humanity as a whole." He said that his experiences certainly have motivated him to contribute as much as possible to our mother language- Dogri.
This offline event was attended by Sahaitya Akedemi Awardee, prominent author Shivdev Singh Susheel, renowned poet, author and senior-most news reader- All India Radio (DDG-level) Vijay Verma, linguistic expert, educationist, translator and broadcaster- Dr. Jatender Singh, State Information Official Natya Pal Singh, Dogri-lover and ex-senior Manager J&K Bank Sukhdev Gautam, Rajesh, Rakesh, Suraj Chand, Nanak Chand and many others adhering to all the COVID-19 norms.
