DLSA Reasi holds online awareness event on NALSA Scheme

REASI, July 19: District Legal Services Authority, Reasi today organized an Online Program on "Implementation of NALSA Scheme: (Victims of Trafficking and Commercial Sexual Exploitation) Scheme 2015" here in compliance with the mandate of Action Plan for the month of July.
The online awareness event was held under the guidance and supervision of R.N. Wattal, Chairman DLSA and Secretary, Rekha Kapoor Nischal.
District Social Welfare Officer, Dr. G.K Sharma and Panel Advocate, Shalendra Bhardwaj were the resource persons, while Panel Advocate Ajay Salaria acted as a moderator of the on-line program.
Secretary DLSA, Rekha Kapoor Nischal, presented the welcome address.
The resource person, Dr. G.K. Sharma (DSWO Reasi) educated the participants about all the Social Welfare Schemes for the victims of Trafficking and Commercial Sexual Exploitation and also the procedure for getting the benefits of these Schemes through the social welfare department.
Panel Advocate, Shalendra Bhardwaj spoke on the role of District Legal Services Authorities in providing Legal Services to address the concerns of Victims of Trafficking and Commercial Sexual Exploitation at the stages of prevention, rescue and their rehabilitation. This on-line program was attended by Panel Advocates, Police Officers and PLVs of District Reasi.
