DIET Samba conducts five days training

SAMBA, July 19: District Institute of Education and Training (DIET Samba) conducted a five days subject specific training in Science at secondary level from 15 July to 19 July.
The training was conducted by DIET team in a virtual mode keeping in view the COVID restrictions in mind.
H.L Pandita (Principal, DIET SAMBA) and Shailesh Kumari (HOD,DIET) inaugurated the training session with words of encouragement for the participants and also stressed on the need of such trainings.
The training was a comprehensive one covering quite a few aspects of science as a teaching subject. Principal DIET, H.L. Pandita was also one of the resource persons for the training and give a lecture on viral diseases this was a very pertinent topic in view of the ongoing assault of viral diseases like COVID-19.
Other resource persons were Mohammed Ershad, Lecturer, Kavita Dogra lecturer, Meenakshi Kak, lecturer and Rajni Sharma teacher each of these resource persons took up topics related to science and gave PowerPoint presentations on the same.
The Assistant Coordinator, Nisha Rani, lecture and technical support was provided by S. Gurcharan Singh, Lecturer as Technical Admin and Aayush as Computer Assistant who deliberated on ICT aspects of training with the participants which was greatly appreciated by all the participants and the Principal.
