ASSOCHAM appeals masses to following COVID appropriate behaviour | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, July 24: The J&K council of Associated Chamber of Commerce and Industries of India (ASSOCHAM) today urged all the industry members to follow the Covid Appropriate Behaviour strictly to prevent third wave of coronavirus. The business and industry of Jammu and Kashmir was badly affected due to two waves of Covid-19 and lockdowns in recent past. In the council meeting of ASSOCHAM J&K under the leadership of Manik Batra, Chairman and Dr. M A Alim Co- Chairman, ASSOCHAM J&K Council held on Saturday, various issues related to trade and Industry were discussed. "Trade and Industry of Jammu and Kashmir has suffered a lot during the two waves of Covid-19 in recent past and there are some predictions of third wave as well. ASSOCHAM Believes that the third wave can be further down prevented with precautionary measures and following covid appropriate behaviour," said Manik Batra, Chairman ASSOCHAM J&K Council. Other issues related to GST and developmental works in Industrial areas were also discussed in detail with the members during the virtual meeting. Dr. MA Alim, Co-Chairman ASSOCHAM J&K Council also stressed upon following all the measures to prevent Corona virus. The Co-Chair reposed his faith in the membership and the good work being done by the officials. Some measure to further streamline and bring more professional approach were suggested and well taken so that in the coming days the members concern could be addressed more efficiently and within a time bound manner. |
