Directs Health Department to put in extra efforts for achieving universal coverage | DC Ramban reviews progress of AB-PMJDY-SEHAT Registration | | Early Times Report RAMBAN, July 24: Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Mussarat Islam today chaired a meeting to review progress of registration and generation of Golden Cards under Ayushman Bharat - Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana - SEHAT Scheme (AB-PMJAY-SEHAT) in the district. Assistant Commissioner Development Zameer Ahmed Rishu; Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Fareed Bhat, Dy. CMO Dr. Iqbal Bhat, Medical Superintendent District Hospital, District Coordinators for registration Ayusman Bharat, ASHA workers and other concerned attended the meeting. The CMO apprised regarding the status and achievements made with regard to implementation of AB-PMJAY-SEHAT in all medical blocks. The DC directed the officers to sensitize the people about benefits of SEHAT Golden Card and put in extra efforts to achieve universal coverage under the health scheme. He directed the CMO to launch a mass awareness campaign to create awareness among the people and called for mobilizing field level workers including VLEs ASHA workers, VLWs etc to motivate the masses. He also directed District Coordinator CSCs to ensure speedy registration and stressed on completion of the process within prescribed time. Highlighting the benefits of the scheme, the DC said that AB PM-JAY SEHAT Scheme is one of the most ambitious schemes launched by Prime Minister on 26th December 2020 and it aims to provide Universal Health Insurance Coverage of Rs. 5.00 lakh per family in J&K on a floater basis in convergence with central government's Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY). |
