Cultural Wing DIPRJ organises Webinar on Covid Appropriate Behaviour

JAMMU, July 24: Cultural Wing, Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR), Jammu, in collaboration with Bhartiya Vidya Mandir High School, Udhampur, (Nainsu) today organised a webinar on Covid appropriate behavior as the part of Azaadi ka Amrut Mahotsav India @75 celebrations.
Secretary, BVM, Udhampur, Mamchand Mittal was the chief guest and Cultural Officer of DIPR Parul Khajuria, was guest of honour in the programme, while Renu Sharma, Principal of the School was special guest.
Pratap, Daleep, Amit, Poonam and Seema participated in the programme as Judges and Susheel Kumar as coordinator.
In all 12 students spoke on the topic. Pratibha Singh was declared as 1st, Radhika Sharma 2nd and Deepakshi & Divyanshi shared 3rd position, while Sunaina & Vidant received consolation prizes in the competition.
Principal of School, Renu Sharma, presented the welcome address and proceedings were conducted by Suresh Sharma, Senior Cultural Assistant. Songs & Jingles on the importance of covid appropriate behavior were presented by artists of Cultural wing, viz Banti Shah, Balbir Singh and Mohinder Panchairvi. They were supported by Darama Instructor Vijay Anand.
Chief Guest, Mamchand Mittal appreciated the efforts made by the Cultural Wing of DIPR Jammu and hoped that the Information Department would continue to organise more such programs to spread awareness about CAB.
Guest of Honour, Parul Khajuria, Cultural Officer also highlighted the objectives of the awareness programme and appealed to the participants to follow all covid safety protocols.
Earlier, the program began with Saraswati Vandana presented by Prtibha, Mennakshi, Deepakshi Sunaina and Divyanshi.
