GMC&AH Rajouri gets Additional 750 LPM Oxygen Concentrator Plant | Two more OCPs of same capacity to be installed soon: DC | | Early Times Report RAJOURI, July 25: Adding another dimension to its infrastructure, District Development Commissioner, Rajesh K Shavan today commissioned an additional 750 LPM capacity Oxygen Concentrator Plant here at Government Medical College & Associate Hospital Rajouri. Among the others, Principal GMC, Dr Brij Mohan Gupta; Medical Superintendent DH, Dr Mehmood; Assistant Executive Engineer Mechanical, Vinod Sharma besides the concerned officers and paramedical staff of the Health Department were present on the occasion Speaking on the occasion, the District Development Commissioner said that the District Administration is committed to meet the medical oxygen supply in the district for providing best patient care service to Covid and other patients. The District Development Commissioner further said that one oxygen concentrator plant of 1000 litres per minute capacity is already functioning in GMC&AH and with the commissioning of the additional oxygen concentrator plant, the capacity of medical oxygen of the GMC&AH has touched 1750 LPM. "Two more oxygen concentrator plants of 750 LPM capacity each would be installed in the coming months to provide necessary relief to the COVID patients", the District Development Commissioner added. He hailed the efforts of the executing agency for completing the work on the plant in a time-bound manner. While inspecting the progress on the room being constructed for the CT Scan purpose, the District Development Commissioner asked the concerned to complete the work within the shortest possible time. The District Development Commissioner also inspected the progress on 200 bedded capacity augmentation work in the GMC&AH and issued directions to the Executing Agency for the time-bound completion of the work. The District Development Commissioner also directed the Health Authorities to put in place extra efforts to provide the best possible and quality health services to the patients so that they don't feel any inconvenience. The District Development Commissioner also urged the public to keep following the SOPs regarding COVID19 and help the District Administration mitigate the pandemic. |
