JAMMU, July 25: To infuse sporting spirit among the sanitation employees and help them to make proper use of leisure, Councillor JMC Ward 21, Gandhi Nagar organised a friendly Cricket match of sanitation staff of ward at Playfield-2, Dussehra ground, Gandhi Nagar, here today.
The match was played between Ward 21 Gandhi Nagar Team A and Team B, wherein former prevailed over latter in a close contest.
Team A included Razak Bhatti (Captain), Arun, Ajay, Sahil Gill, Ashok Gill, Saleem, Joginder Singh, Sahil Panigitra, Sahul Naar, Soni and Gourav, while the Team B included Krishan Lal (Captain), Rinku Gill, Gulshan Sona, Parvez, Amandeep, Tarsem, Bassa, Bunty, Sonu, Sunny and Vicky.
The match was organised as part of welfare activities of the JMC staff of the ward, initiated by Councillor, Miss Bhanu Mahajan, who was assisted by two supervisors namely Gulshan Sona and Rinku Gill,
The match was officiated by Rajeev Sharma and Ajeet, under the overall supervision of Prithvi Vaid. |
