| Ensure maximum participation in updation of electoral process: Mahajan to migrants | | |

JAMMU, July 29: Er Ramesh Chander Mahajan has appealed to all Kashmiri migrants of Jammu and those who are scattered all over India, to come out enmass to ensure maximum participation in updating of their photograph/image and other related electoral process to be taken up district wise.
He said we appreciate the initiative taken by Assistant Electoral Registration Officer (M) and District Election officer Srinagar for organizing a camp with deputing special team of district election officers at various Migrant camps at Jammu/ Srinagar to facilitate the updation of electoral process of migrants voters of Srinagar district starting from 28.7.2021 within 10 days whereas detail voters list required to be revised immediately at the earliest and eligible voter may not be deprived of his franchise to avoid any inconvenience in future at grass root level.
He further said that it will ensure maximum voter strength with 100% participation of all migrants for choosing their representatives accordingly in upcoming elections. |
