CEO initiates for making all Govt Teachers Tech Savvy, Training for 5300 Teachers commences Virtually

POONCH, July 29: In an attempt to equip the teaching community with the online teaching techniques and use of various teaching platforms, Department of School Education Poonch has organized an online training programme for Zonal Resource persons from 11 zones of Poonch district. Abdul Majid, Chief Education Officer Poonch along with Khushinder Singh Vice Principal DIET Poonch inaugurated the Training from Digital Studio at DIET Poonch here today.
In the two days training programme District Resource Group Members Harish Sharma, Darshan Bharti, Ajay Maini and Tariq Chugtai conducted online lectures on the topics like "Creation of Links for conducting online classes", "Content Creation", "Online assessment/Evaluation", "Various Online Teaching Platforms" "Use of DSEJ SARAL App etc. a workshop was also conducted where Resource persons created online links and contents for online classes.
The trained Resource persons shall further train over 5,000 teachers/masters in Poonch district within 15 days so that all the teachers be involved in remote learning process.
Speaking at the valedictory ceremony, Abdul Majid, Chief Education Officer Poonch appreciated the efforts of District Resource Group Poonch for conducting such an informative training that too with no expenses. He asked the Zonal Resource Persons to train all the teachers/masters of their respective subjects within 15 days and implement the training on the ground for the successful running of online classes.
CEO Poonch also urged the DIKSHA/DD Gyan/ DSEJ online classes content creators to use Digital studio for creation of contents for making remote learning easy for students of Jammu and Kashmir especially for Poonch district.
He also directed all the DDOs of the education department to use all types of digital platforms and facilities available with the department like ICT Labs for online classes, so that maximum students can be connected with the online classes.
Khushinder Singh Vice Principal DIET Poonch asked the teaching community to work with zeal and zest for providing online classes to the students of Poonch district. He extended full cooperation in all the initiatives initiated by District Resource Group Poonch under the guidance of CEO Poonch.
