JAMMU, July 29: To raise awareness about declining tiger population all over the world, an online Intra-College poster making competition was organized by Department of Zoology, GDC Paloura on International Tiger Day.
The competition was adjudged by Prof. Shobhna Sambyal, Associate Professor, GCW Parade and Dr Archana Gupta, Assistant Professor, GDC Udhampur.
First, position was bagged by Shewali Mahlotra of B.A. Sem IV, Second position was shared by Sonika Bhatt of B.Sc. SemVI and Riya Devi of B.A. Sem IV and Third position was bagged by Komal Chowdhary of B.Sc. Sem VI while Ankita Bhagat of B.A Sem II and Priya Devi of B.Sc. Sem VI were given consolation certificates.
The event was organized by Dr Savi Behl and Dr Sanjay Kotwal under the guidance of Prof. Ramneek Kaur, Principal GDC Paloura. |
