Jammu, July 29: Amit Sharma, Chief Executive Officer, Jammu & Kashmir eGovernance Agency today shared J&K’s IT related initiatives and success stories as a keynote speaker during One-Day National Workflow Summit 2021 organised by Economic Times Group which was held on a Virtual Mode today. CEO JaKeGA Amit Sharma shared J&K’s perspectives during a very interesting Panel Discussion held on the topic “Citizen Centric Service - Let’s Workflow it” which was also joined by other states IT experts with him including Kumar Vineet, Special Secretary IT & Electronics Department & MD, UPDESCO, Santulan Chaubey, Joint Director & CISO, Department of IT, Government of NCT of Delhi, Kabita Roy Das, DD & SIO, NIC, Odisha, Akhilesh Mittal, Additional Director, Department of IT & C, Government of Rajasthan and Dr Abhishek Roy, Head SeMT, Government of West Bengal. The Panel Discussion was moderated by Mohd Ujaley, Assistant Editor, ET. CEO JaKeGA shared that lot of special initiatives have been taken under the broader vision of LG Manoj Sinha, Chief Secretary Dr Arun Kumar Mehta and Secretary IT Simrandeep Singh such as successful implementation of eOffice in all departments of Civil Secretariats, launch of Digital Village Centres for taking Connectivity directly upto Gram Sabha level, successful launch of SWAN connectivity upto Block level, upgradation of State Data Centre, setting-up of Data Recovery Centre at Secunderabad for J&K Digital Data, launch of several public related portals such as Covid Dashboard, Mumkin, Awam ki Awaz, LG Grievance Cell and many other similar public welfare related initiatives. Amit Sharma mentioned that J&K is heading towards becoming one of the best Technology driven States/UTs in coming times and JaKeGA is making all efforts to take technology to the last mile user which has been envisaged by the visionary Administration of the Union Territory. He also revealed that JaKeGA team is working relentlessly towards giving simplified solutions so that public can take maximum advantage while using mobile phones, public helplines, VC facilities at the grass-root level. Before culmination of his address in National Workflow Summit 2021, CEO JaKeGA Amit Sharma extended invite to all the top software and hardware companies who were participating in this ET Summit to keep J&K on their top of the list for become stakeholders in ongoing phase of IT reforms as the atmosphere for investing here is most conducive and receptive as on date and all such lead initiatives shall be welcomed here.
