DC Doda reviews progress on digitisation of land records, constitution of Youth Clubs

DODA, July 31: Deputy Commissioner Doda, Vikas Sharma today chaired the meeting of key officials of Revenue department here at Conference Hall of DC office, to take the first hand appraisal of the progress on digitisation of land records in the district, besides the implementation of decisions with regard to constitution of Youth Clubs in all Panchayats of the district and other issues.
The DC directed the contractor agency to engage additional manpower and extra machines to complete the process of digitisation including quality check in triple shifts. He asked the Nodal officers to monitor the progress on daily basis. The SDMs and Tehsildars were asked to submit the actual status of digitisation Tehsil wise as per the prescribed format.
With regard to promotion of Mission Youth, the meeting was told that majority of the Panchayats have constituted youth clubs as per the set guidelines and at some places process is on. The DC set August 2 as deadline for completing the process.
The ADCs and SDMs were asked to identify the persons with outstanding talent in art, literature etc, besides decorated soldiers and martyrs, freedom fighters so that they shall be felicitated. The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, ADC Bhaderwah, all SDMs and Tehsildars, besides other concerned officials.
