Gupkaris cannot reconcile to Naya Kashmir: Brig Gupta
8/5/2021 11:04:35 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 5: Naya Kashmir is not a hoax but a reality. However, it is very different from the idea of Kashmir nurtured by the Gupkaris for more than seven decades. In their visualization Kashmir is their fiefdom (sultanat) where only they own the exclusive rights to prosperity including their children who lead safe and cozy lives in foreign lands while a common Kashmiri continues to struggle for both ends to meet and live under the perpetual threat of the gun, stated Brigadier Veteran Anil Gupta, Spokesperson of Bharatiya Janata Party in a press release issued at the party HQ today.
It is difficult for the kingmakers of the past to come to terms with Naya Kashmir where the center of power has shifted from Gupkar Road to villages, blocks and districts. How can they accept the change in which Advocate Sajra Qadir of Gulabgarh is Vice Chairperson of DDC Reasi and 23-year-old Minha Lateef of BJP from Pulwama is the youngest DDC councilor?
In their idea of Kashmir, the youth is to carry gun and kill innocent fellow Kashmiris at the behest of their akas sitting across the border so that it remains perpetually in turmoil and a melting pot. How can they reconcile to a Naya Kashmir where Kashmiris have shunned violence, accepted "EkVidhan and Ek Nishan" and where 50,000 youth is beneficiary of Mission Youth? Mission Youth is a visionary scheme launched by Modi government with an aim to engage the youngsters of the UT from developing their skills to training them from starting their own ventures. The five to six major parameters covered under the Mission Youth are; Skill Development, Sports wherein 20000 youth will be engaged and trained in various sports to become professionals, Free Coaching for different competitive exams, Counselling Centers, Scholarships for girl students to pursue higher studies, Self-Employment in collaboration with J&K Bank.
