| DRAC Ramban approves 45 Rent Assessment Cases | | |

RAMBAN, Aug 5: District Rent Assessment Committee (DRAC), which met under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner, Ramban Mussarat Islam, approved 45 rent cases of different departments here today.
The meeting was attended by the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Harbans Lal, Addl.SP Rajni Sharma, officers from Army and officers of other departments besides owners of houses.
The rent cases pertaining to Police, Army, CRPF, ICDS, Revenue, Education, Agriculture, FCS&CA,Fire & Emergency Services and other departments were approved by the Committee.
The Committee discussed the fixation of rent of various structures in which various government offices are functioning across the district.
As many as 59 rent assessment cases were put up for discussion out of which 45 cases were approved by the committee in the presence of house owners and respective departmental representatives. A total 14 cases of different departments were deferred for next meeting.
The Deputy Commissioner asked the officers to pay rent to the concerned owners of land and structures on time and ensure safety of the Government and rented property. |
