| DC inspects PWD works during extensive tour of Mendhar block | | |

POONCH, Aug 5: District Development Commissioner Poonch, Inder Jeet, conducted an extensive tour of Mendhar block to inspect the progress of the developmental works being executed by the PWD. Executive Engineer, PWD, Mohammad Parvaiz and other officials accompanied the Deputy Commissioner during the inspection. The DDC inspected the progress of work on30 Metre Span Motorable Bridge and construction of road from Kotan to Sadwala, construction of Mini Secretariat, construction of double lane Motarable bridge upstream/downstream, construction of 100 bedded (G+2) Girls Hostel for Govt. Degree College Mendhar (Phase-1), construction of EKLAVYA Model residential School at Village Behra Mendhar. He instructed the concerned executive engineer to expedite the pace of work and to complete the projects in stipulated time. The DDC asked the Executive Engineer that construction of a 100 bedded Girls hostel and EKLVYA Model residential school at village Behra mendhar should be taken on priority basis and completed at an earliest. |
