| DC launches special sanitation drive in Poonch town | | |

POONCH, Aug 5: Deputy Commissioner, Poonch, Inder Jeet, today launched special sanitation drivein the Poonch town as part of celebrating 75 years of India’s Independence under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
Additional District Development Commissioner, Abdul Sattar; Assistant Commissioner Development, Rajesh Lakhan; Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Zaheer Ahmed Kaifi; DIO, CEO Municipality; staff of municipality besides other officers were present on the occasion.
The main aim of this special sanitation drive was to provide better civic amenities to the residents and to prevent the causes of disease amid the covid-19 pandemic.
The Deputy Commissioner urged to the public to cooperate with the sanitation workers and make the city clean and Green.
He asked the public not to throw garbage in open places and use dustbin and municipal garbage vehicles to stay safe and healthy. |
