DDC Vice Chairperson conducts public grievances redress camp at Ramnagar

RAMNAGAR, Aug 5: Coinciding with 2nd anniversary of ‘Ekatmata Diwas’ and in line with the principle of ‘government at your doorsteps’, a public grievance redress camp was organized at Town-Hall Ramnagar by Vice Chairperson DDC Udhampur, Juhi Manhas Pathania here today.
DDC Ramnagar-I, Mool Raj, DDC Latti, Pinky Devi, DDC Ghordi, Rakesh Bodhi, Chairman BDC Ghordi, Aarti Sharma, Chairman MC Ramnagar, Makhan Lal, Vice Chairman MC Ramnagar, Sumit Gupta and a wide spectrum of PRIs were present and projected their respective concerns. The administrative side was represented by SDM Ramnagar, Gopal Singh, Tehsildar Ramnagar , Srinath Suman and nodal/sectoral officers of various departments/agencies.
Juhi informed the people that Rown to Ramnagar and Ramnagar to Basantgarh would soon have viable road connectivity in the immediate future. She further said that road from Rown to Ramnagar was built by ERA over a decade back and needs immediate renovation.
She added that under PMGSY two projects from Rown to Ramnagar have been formulated by concerned department with the help of local PRIs. She reiterated that very soon Rown to Ramnagar shall have a viable connectivity through two roads up gradation projects. She said that efforts will be made to lessen curvature, height and to standardize the road according to Indian Motor Tariff Rules. She further said that work on Ramnagar to Basantgarh has also been accelerated. She assured that the department of PMGSY will find a permanent solution to the never-ending landslides and people shall have 24X7 connectivity. She directed the line departments to be more sensitive towards the public needs and aspirations. She called upon the officers present to immediately restore all suspended water supply lines, electricity supply lines suspended due to recent flash floods.
She called upon the department of PDD to immediately ensure provision of poles and electricity wires to those people who have already been sanctioned connections under Saubhagya. She was further impressed upon immediate operationalisation of Jal Jeevan Mission DPRs/estimates so that ‘Har Ghar Ko Saaf Jal’ was conceptualized at the earliest. Fast peddling of work on Mantalai to Dudu road and Udhampur to Ghordi road was also demanded. She impressed upon the Health Department to ensure 100% coverage of people under Ayushman Bharat in liaison with DDCs/BDCs/PRIs.
PRIs demanded early start of the work on Dalsar to Sulghar Khas road and completing construction of GHSS Chanunta building, completion of Panjgrain to Mannal road, Kanoglu to Panchond road and Panchond to Chappar road.
