| SKUAST-J organises officers monthly workshop | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Aug 5: Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology-Jammu (SKUAST-J) organised officers monthly workshop here today through online mode which was enthusiastically attended by a number of extension officers from the Department of Agriculture of Udhampur district.
The workshop was organised under the guidance of Director Extension, Prof SK Gupta and Vice Chancellor of SKUAST-Jammu, Prof JP Sharma. Dr Ravinder Singh Soodan, Associate Professor, SKUAST-J warmly welcomed the participants and briefed the objectives of the workshop.
While elaborating the monthly message he said that the recommended varieties of different crops should be utilized by the farmers.
He urged the participants to take the consultations from the experts of SKUAST-J before the further dissemination of technologies to the farmers. Scientist & Head of KVK, Reasi, Dr Banarsi Lal stressed on the timely management of different diseases and insect-pests in different diseases. |
