Rajouri, Aug 5: The youth of Basith community village Sadhiyal highlighted that some of the overs mart people of the community are trying to change the caste from Basith to Rajput which will not be good for the coming generations of the community.
It is discussed in the meeting our people want to do just reverse of what the intellectuals of Haryana are doing.
Remarking that "to stay at our ancestors position" is the main pillar of progress and development of community.
It is unanimously agreed that we must be given our right by the government by immediately culminating the added word with our caste. It is further added that there is dire need for the upgradation of system also.
In his keynote address, Sarpanch Kulbir singh, said that with the advent of new technology people don't ask your caste but ask your work, so there is need of final amendment in our caste as Basith.S Surinder Kour, Baba Amreek Singh Vyas, Satpaul Singh, Ram Singh, Rajan Singh, Manjeet Kumar, Rajesh Kumar, Naresh Kumar,Pawan Kumar, Deepak Singh and other youth members were also present in the meeting. |
