| SDM Akhnoor listens to public grievances | | |

AKHNOOR, Aug 5: Sub District Magistrate Akhnoor Chand Kishore Sharma conducted tour of block Bhalwal Brahmana and attended public outreach program in which chairperson Block development council Neha rajput and all sarpanches from the block apprised him about the problems faced by them in day to day life
All the Sarpanches of block one by one highlighted the issue regarding their respective Panchyats related mainly to erratic power supply, Drinking water, dilapidated condition of village Link Roads, Up gradation of transformers, Low voltage, Encroachment on Ponds and Kahcharie land, i erosion of fertile land due to recent floods in Chenab river, repair of irrigation channels, non-availability of electric polls, non functioning of Tube wells.
Chairman BDC Neha Rajput also highlighted major problems being faced by the Public in the Block. Sub Divisional Magistrate gave a patient hearing to all the Sarpanches and assured them that their genuine grievance will be resolved soon. Among others Chairman BDC Neha Rajput, BDO Bhalwal Brahmana Shivani Gotra,Sarpanches from Panchayats,Bandwal,Jamotian, Chak Kirpalpur, Bhiri Taryai, Chak Bhagwana, Rajwal, Dhok Khalsa, Mawa Brahamana, Lehar, Devipur Gurah Jagir, Bhalwal Brahamana, Muthi Maira and Jadd and staff of Rural development department were also present. |
