RAMBAN, Aug 12: Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Mussarat Islam today conducted a surprise inspection of government offices and ordered strict action against the absentee employees.
He inspected PWD, Jal Shakti, Health, Transport, Social Welfare, Education, Handicrafts & Handloom, DTO and other district and sectoral engineering departments.
A large number of officials were found absent from the duty. The DC directed to take action against them as per the service conduct rules. He said the district administration will not tolerate indiscipline and take strict action as per rules against those who do not perform their duties assiduously.
Names of 15 officials were forwarded to their Divisional headquarters for action as per rules.
The DC also expressed serious concern over failure of departments to follow the earlier direction for improving the hygienic environs of the office premises in the District Administrative Complex. He asked the HoDs to maintain their office buildings and spruce up surroundings. |
