Plantation drive organizes | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Aug 12: A plantation drive was organized at Govt Girls High School Gandhi Nagar, Jammu on the eve of 75th Independence Day. Chief Education Officer Jammu Suraj Singh Rathore was the Chief Guest on the occasion while Davinder Singh Mahnas Deputy CEO Jammu and Veena Tikko ZEO Gandhi Nagar were guest of honour. Dr Kishore Sharma Principal HSS Balwal, Darshan Sharma Lecturer and Narinder Singh Chib Lecturer witnessed the occasion as Special guests. The Plantation Drive was organized as a part of celebration of 75th Independence Day by Ganesh khajuria, I/C Headmaster and staff members of GGHS Gandhi Nagar. More the Seventy five Plants of different kinds including herbal plants were planted by dignitaries and staff in the School premises. While addressing on the occasion Worthy CEO Jammu stressed on need of Plantation Drives to safeguard the environment for a clean and healthy life and to achieve the target of "Clean India, Green India" CEO Jammu further appreciated dedicated efforts of Ganesh Khajuria I/c. Headmaster and staff members of the institution for initiating plantation drive to make pollution free, clean and Green environment in School. The programme was concluded by presenting vote of thanks by Sh Ganesh Khajuria I/C HM GGHS Gandhi Nagar. |
