Covid-19 vaccination drive organized

JAMMU, Aug 12: The NSS unit of Government College of Engineering and Technology, Jammu in collaboration with Sub District Hospital Kot Bhalwal, organized COVID -19 vaccination drive for staff and students in the college campus.
The drive was held under the patronage of Principal of the college Dr. Sameru Sharma.
She encouraged and congratulated all the students for getting vaccination for COVID -19 and appealed all the students of the college who have not vaccinated yet to get vaccination as early as possible. The vaccination derive was organised under the supervision of Lesion Officer Prof. Shammi Kumar & NSS Programme Officer Dr. Raman Gupta of the college. The medical team from the SDH was headed by Dr. Sakshi Sharma, with technical support from Sh. Chander Shekhar (Med. Asstt), Ms. Ramni Abrol Ms. Jiwan Jyoti, Ms. Rajni Devi (FMPHW), Ram Pyari and Pushpa Devi (Asha Worker). More than 120 students and staff members got their vaccination (ISt and 2nd dose) in this derive. The NSS volunteers of the college helped in maintaining all the necessary SOPs and precautions during the derive. The Principal of the college lauded the efforts of Lesion Officer and NSS unit of the college who helped the medical team to make the derive huge success. She thanked the medical team from SDH for providing the essential services at the college campus. The other members present during the vaccination derive were Dr. Neerupma, Surinder Singh Slathia, Vishal Vaid, Sandeep Kapoor and Vikrant.
