Early Times Report JAMMU, Aug 12: A police constable died late Wednesday night in an incident of fratricide in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir. "One police constable identified as Mohammad Younis of Reasi died when his colleague, identified as Constable Iqbal Singh of Hiranagar, after a fight in a fit of anger fired 4 to 5 rounds at him," police said. Ramesh Kotwal, Senior Superintendent of Police, Kathua also confirmed it to UNI here. He said that the cops exchanged heated words over some issue after returning to their barracks from duty in District Police Line Kathua. "In a fit of anger, one of them shot at another with official Ak-47 rifle leaving him dead on the spot," he said. The accused cop was overpowered and later arrested.
