RAJOURI, Aug 12: GDC Thannamandi observed International Youth Day by organizing a webinar on the topic "SAY NO TO DRUGS".
A good number of students participated and expressed their thoughts on the drug abuse. The welcome address was given by Prof. (Dr.) Nahim-Un-Nisa, NSS programme officer. Maheen Fatima, 4th semester, Miss. Ishrat Javaid 4th semester and Mobeen Ali Shah, 2nd semester secured 1st, 2nd and 3rd position respectively. The judges of the event were Prof. Mudasir Majeed, HOD Islamic studies, Waqar Ahmed, Librarian and Prof. Tahir Nadeem, HOD Applied Mathematics.
The programme was also attended by the staff members. In addition to this the ongoing vaccination drive was also culminated today. Maximum numbers of students were vaccinated. The programme was held under the patronage of Prof. Dr Javaid Ahmed Qazi, Principal of the college and coordinated by Prof. Raheela Mushtaq. The programme was moderated by Prof. Khalid Rayaz, HOD Geography. Vote of thanks was presented by Prof.Raheela Mushtaq.
