| GDC Ukhral organizes poster making competition | | |

UKHRAL, Aug 12: The Psychological Counceling Cell of GDC Ukhral today organized a poster making competition on the theme Drug Abuses". The competition was organised with the aim to create awareness about drugs abuses and strengthening action and cooperation in order to make India Drug Free.
Large number of students participated in this poster making competition. Aiyaz Ahmed Mir of GDC Ramban, Asiya Ajaz Draboo and Sanjeel Singh of GDC Ukhral got first, second and third position respectively. Dr Shafiq Ahmed Katoch HoD Urdu and Prof Iftikhar Hussain Lone HoD English checked and adjudged the posters on the occasion. Principal of the College Dr. Ranvijay Singh congratulated the meritorious students on the occasion and exhorted upon all the participants to act as ambassadors for spreading the awareness about the harmful consequences of drug abuses and take pledge to make our society and country drug free. The event was co-ordinated by Prof Zakir Hussain Convener Psychological Counseling Cell of the College. |
